That's what makes us Roche.You are responsible for driving the strategy, performance, and continuous development of the Roche site in San Cugat, Spain. The role oversees all aspects related to Security, Safety, Health & Environment and site management including real estate management, capex projects, maintenance, engineering, workplace management, and on-site services (i.e., canteen, mailing, internal events, etc.) in compliance with local requirements and global Roche standards.You foster collaboration across teams, ensure fit-for-purpose facility and future site needs by delivering state-of-art solutions and excellent on-site services. The role requires strong leadership, proficiency in project & process management, and a customer/user-oriented mindset.The successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance & Operations DIA Spain and will be leading a team of leaders and individual contributors.Responsibilities:Facilitate and support the definition of mid to long-term site strategy to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that enable business functions to attract and retain talents.Drive close communication and collaboration with all stakeholders on site, following the customer-first principle to ensure a high-quality experience.Establish a systematic review mechanism of site performance and efficiency (including external benchmarking).Define clear yet simple KPIs to foster high-quality delivery, continuous improvements, collective ownership, and individual accountability.Lead local emergency situations in accordance with defined procedures and seamless alignment with key stakeholders.Ensure strong security measures are established in relation to physical security (access control, badges, guards), personnel security (provision of protective measures), and information security (building awareness across employees).Ensure Site's license to operate by ensuring activity licenses, relevant ISOs certifications, and other supporting certifications are timely obtained and renewed.Be responsible for Site Management budget to maximize outcomes and high-quality delivery experience.Continuously improve supplier management practices to maintain the highest standard of site services provided (i.e., canteen, mailing, internal events, etc.).Represent and actively contribute in Global Facility Council forums to support/drive/implement corporate initiatives while ensuring local needs are well represented.Represent Roche Diagnostics Spain towards the local community and stakeholders (i.e., Ajuntament, Generalitat, AMB).Drive and timely implement local and global projects in the area of responsibility (i.e., Real Estate, SHE, Facility, Sustainability, etc.).Build a robust performance management system, make regular evaluations, and provide timely feedback and coaching for the employees.Promote accountability and facilitate efficient communication & collaboration within the team and across functions.Develop a comprehensive talent management strategy and build a high-performing organization.Who you are:You are an experienced people leader with enterprise focus, promoting diverse and inclusive environments, and a focus on the right work for the highest impact.You are an excellent communicator with the ability to influence decisions, clearly articulate complex concepts, and lead by example.You are able to articulate a vision and inspire people to join you on the journey.You provide focus and clarity in the face of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguous circumstances.You are someone who seeks common ground to resolve conflicts and builds bridges across the organization.You are a people-oriented person with a track record of developing, listening, coaching, and empowering people.You excel at combining your expertise with curiosity and a deep understanding of customer needs.You actively encourage a culture of experimentation and develop individuals & teams.Qualifications and experience:Higher Education Degree (MA, MS, MBA, PhD).Minimum 7 years of previous experience in leadership positions and people management.Experience in a similar function including facility management, SH&E, site management.Solid track record in project management and change management.Supplier management, conflict management, and negotiation skills.Fluent level of Spanish and high level of English.In return, we are committed to providing you with an open, supportive, and challenging environment in which you can grow and develop your skills.Who we are:At Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
