Head of Sales Specialists, Hospitality InternationalIn this role, you will lead the efforts of the Sales International Specialists team in order drive the growth and penetration of Hospitality portfolio business in the International markets.
You will manage all aspects of the business - the relationships with our customers in partnership with our Sales colleagues to maximize the revenue and the profit that Amadeus Hospitality achieves from all products and services.
Main responsibilities: Grow new sales of assigned product or product familyNew business generation and prospecting for top accounts in order to overachieve assigned new business targetsAssist the DOS & Regional Leaders across all aspects of the sales process from discovery to closure.Oversee large, assigned Renewal Clients for purposes of ongoing renewals.Attain expert-level proficiency in demonstrating and showcasing the unique selling proposition or unique value proposition of our products to both internal and external customersResponsible for ensuring all specialists are properly equipped to effectively demonstrate and showcase our products, contributing to the success of our new sales and renewal numbers.You will create an atmosphere to identify the best commercial opportunities and drive excellent results. You will build a strong level of customer partnership, fostering high customer satisfaction, and advocate for customer within Amadeus as well as represent Amadeus within the hotel companies we serve. In doing this, you will fulfill regional and Amadeus objectives, using all customer interactions and relationships to help improve Amadeus product offering.
Key responsibilities: Ownership of new sales/renewal sales among assigned accounts and/or assigned territories and assigned product familiesCoverage of new sales/renewal sales for all assigned accounts in coordination with DOSIdentification of new opportunities among assigned accountsCoordination with product organization for ongoing product expertise, including updates on product capabilities and development of value propositionJointly responsible for the negotiation and deal close with Regional Commercial Heads.Act as champion at various market and trade showsAttain expert-level proficiency in demonstrating and showcasing the unique selling proposition or unique value proposition of our products to both internal and external customersResponsible for ensuring all specialists are properly equipped to effectively demonstrate and showcase our products, contributing to the success of our new sales and renewal numbers.Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels of hotel companies.Create and maintain strong levels of communication between the highest level of leadership of customers and Amadeus.Represent the needs of the customer within Amadeus to maintain and improve relationships.Recognize and communicate customer issues and ensure timely & satisfactory resolution.Responsible for quality of product delivery and service delivery to customersDevelop and monitor the implementation of the level of service appropriate for each customer while retaining profitability.Internal Relationships: Create strong partnerships with all product and support organizations - finance, legal, P&C to streamline process to effectively serve customersDevelop and support a culture of knowledge sharing within the Amadeus Hospitality organisationEnsure and enable clear communication among the product and commercial teams in the regionSupport regional sales and marketing best practicesShare success stories with Amadeus colleagues with and outside regionShare experiences and lessons learnt (through forums, calls, communities, etc.) with the entire Amadeus commercial communityEnsure the adoption and evolution of the SLTC program post-hypercare for management of customers, pipeline and lead generation.The ideal candidate: Holds a bachelor's degree – MBA preferred+12 years of Sales leadership leading teams that serve large complex customers.Ability to identify strong candidates to lead account teams developing highly customized solutions that meet significant customer needs.Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and technology solutions.Ability to work in a complex customer environment and navigate high levels of leadership in the hospitality industry.Fluent EnglishAbility to travel – the role requires approximately 60% travel
