Head of Sales & Relationship Management Spain Madrid | working from home up to 60% | Reference 6364
Explore an exciting career opportunity within our Global Equities & ETF team. In your role, you will hold a key position in promoting and selling a wide range of secondary markets-related products and services associated with the equity franchise of SIX Group (SIX Swiss Exchange & BME Exchange). The dynamic team operates at the forefront of industry trends, fostering an interdisciplinary approach that goes beyond traditional sales to encompass impactful contributions to business development and market structure topics.
What You Will Do Spearhead Account Management Strategy for BME and SIX Swiss Exchange, with a focus on Spanish clients. Strategically promote equity products and services to achieve revenue and market share targets, while also facilitating cross-selling initiatives. Collaborate closely with Product Managers across London, Zurich, and Madrid to drive product innovation and ensure successful launches. Foster and nurture relationships with Institutional members and Buy-Side participants, tailoring services to meet their specific needs. Generate client analytics to monitor performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and address day-to-day queries from members promptly, leveraging internal relationships to resolve issues effectively. Serve as a representative of the Exchange at client events, conferences, and industry seminars, bolstering brand presence and fostering partnerships. What You Bring Minimum of 5 years of sales/key accounting experience in Equity markets (ideally within secondary markets). Proficient in sales, interpersonal, and communication skills, demonstrating confidence and professionalism in presentations and business interactions across all levels of member firms. Demonstrated understanding of exchange market models, electronic trading, and their impact on trading volumes, with particular knowledge of Swiss and Spanish market models being advantageous. Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a strong commitment to achieving objectives. Collaborative team player with charisma, drive, and strong business acumen. Willingness to travel as required. Proficiency in Spanish language skills (written and verbal) at an excellent level, along with very good English language skills.
