The RoleRecommend risk management strategies to senior management.Advise management on the establishment of a comprehensive framework for identification, monitoring, and measurement of market, operational, and credit risk.Identify the various risks arising out of the company's operations.Develop tools for or evaluate risk.Suggest various strategies to senior management to avoid, mitigate, or transfer potential risks.Work with senior management on the implementation of controls and compliance activities across the company, arranging peer reviews, and participating in audit preparation as necessary.Establish procedures for controlling and monitoring various risks by establishing limits and conducting audits or reviews as necessary.Ensure adequate systems and procedures are in place for compliance.RequirementsMaster's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.15 years' experience, preferably in an investment/financial institution.Minimum 3 years at the managerial level.Minimum 2 years in the Spanish market.Excellent leadership and management skills.Ability to deliver on commitments within tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal confidently at the senior management level.Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.Knowledge of local and international stock market risk management functions.Knowledge of a wide range of controls and compliance activities.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Skills Provision is an ethical international recruitment agency; as such, our adverts do not discriminate with regards to age, race, gender, colour, creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability, and nationality.
