Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and oversee all Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures to ensure compliance with GMP regulations and other relevant standards. Lead and manage the QC team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship. Oversee the testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance. Manage the validation and qualification of analytical methods, equipment, and laboratory systems. Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and production teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues. Participate in regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring the QC department is audit-ready at all times. Monitor and report on QC metrics and performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the QC department remains compliant and competitive. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in Quality Control within a GMP environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and QC best practices. Proven experience in method validation and equipment qualification. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
