What You Will Be Doing As a Head of Processes and Projects, you will be monitoring the operations related to Project Portfolio and will be responsible for managing the Process Optimization and Simplification of EE operations related processes.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: Effectively steer the Operations Project Portfolio and follow up the expected results.
Own the process catalog and apply Santander's Process methodologies and tools to design and manage processes and have the full overview about the operations related EE processes with similarities and market-driven differences.
Follow up the key KPIs and processes observability to ensure continuous improvement of processes across the Bank.
Promote and adopt advanced tools for process discovery and automation, leveraging in the global capabilities (process mining, AI, RPA, etc.).
Support the local Teams in the Countries in their process analysis and optimization, create a market place for best practice sharing and co-operation activities between the countries, and closely incorporate with other HQ Areas (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Legal) for EE process optimization and simplification.
Support the set up of central solutions for Operations used common tools and Services.
Drive the processes design into the IT change lifecycle, ensuring the processes design principles implementation.
Support the development and implementation of the set of capabilities and skills that enable the design and govern of EE processes and their integration with the different platform systems, with strong leverage in the data.
Experience Deep knowledge of the banking products and processes.
Good knowledge and experience in lean/six sigma and/or other optimization methodologies.
Having senior-level dialogue with different stakeholders in the organization, especially the business partners, building relationships of mutual trust based on solid criteria.
Outstanding leadership skills.

Strong orientation to teamwork and collaboration.
Passion for innovation with a high business orientation.
Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field Skills & Knowledge Proven experience in leading process transformation initiatives within the financial services industry.
Transformational skills capable of motivating people to change; Business vision, Organization structure understanding, Communication and inspiration, Change management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise/experience in data-driven methodologies.
Soft skills are as important as hard skills in this role.
Leadership, communication, negotiation, collaboration, consensus building, are key factors when networking with multidisciplinary teams from corporation, countries, headquarters, factories, partners, and vendors.
High level of written and spoken English, as you will be interacting with numerous colleagues from countries across Europe using English language for all of them.
