Come be a part of something transformative!Description of positionThis Head of PeopleTech position is a new full-time position in Orion. You will be responsible for creating, designing and managing Orion's HR system landscape. You ensure that Orion has well-functioning HR processes, easy to use systems and accurate HR data and analytics at hand for decision making and external reporting.Your responsibilities include the following:Vendor management: work together with our IM Service Manager in setting the requirements, in sourcing and in collaboration. Escalate service tickets and manage resolutions, including root cause analysis and remediation. Lead vendor advisory efforts for future roadmap design considerations.System maintenance: consult with key stakeholders to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report and dashboard creation, and analyze workflows for process improvement opportunities. Work with functional and technical teams to coordinate HR information system enhancements and coordinate the review, testing and implementation.Projects/process improvement: use project management skills to develop project plans and monitor HRIS initiatives. Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and prioritize opportunities to improve processes. Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions and ways to align with leading practices.Technology trends: maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and people analytics.User support: collaborate with colleagues to develop user guides, resources, and documentation to encourage and enable user adoption. Research and resolve system problems; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
