Wallapop is currently the largest advertising platform for second hand cars from private sellers, and the second largest overall in Spain. We want to continue the high growth from the past couple of years by further penetrating the dealer market and creating synergies within our portfolio of categories and offerings. As the leading platform for private sellers, we also want to explore how we can innovate and increase the value of our services for them.As the Head of Motors Vertical you will define the general strategy to drive market penetration and revenue growth. You will manage the full Motors vertical, including all relevant categories (cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, auto parts and accessories), target customers (both dealers and private sellers) and sales channels (self-serve and commercial). You will be responsible for coordinating all efforts and initiatives across the various functions involved, including product development, marketing, sales and customer support. This role will operate in a full matrix setup organisation, and therefore requires strong management skills.**What You Will Do**- Define our Motors strategy to improve our competitive position and become the leading classifieds platform for our Motors categories- Drive the processes to define yearly & quarterly business objectives in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders- Collaborate closely with the cross-functional team to translate strategy into operational plans that will help to achieve the set objectives and targets- Take full ownership of the key objectives and results, drive execution and report proactively on progress & challenges- Partner with Product to develop an aligned roadmap for the team- Analyse & improve our current professional proposition and pricing as well as our proposition for private sellers to ensure we maintain our leading position in the market- Identify, quantify & prioritise new opportunities to improve and innovate our value proposition towards buyers and sellers and drive revenue growth- Create realistic business cases to drive make/partner/buy decisions- Manage the full P&L of our Motors business**What We're Looking For**- Bachelor or Master's degree in business or engineering- Extensive and proven years of relevant work experience in business management and/or strategic consulting in the field of classifieds and/or e-commerce- Proven experience in developing and delivering business strategy- Experience in managing a cross-functional team for an internet company- Customer centric mindset in everything you do- Proven track record of always delivering results against ambitious P&L targets- Commercial and creative mindset, balancing pragmatic solutions with long-term goals- Goal-oriented, self-motivated and self-directed- Motivated to take full ownership and include relevant partners from start to end- Fluent in Spanish and English**Additionally,**- Knowledge of the automotive industry is a big plus- Business development experience in SMB solutions- Experience with agile working environment in a start- or scale-up company- Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We work in a mostly remote capacity offering great flexibility to our employees, but we believe in the power of getting together regularly in our office.
