We are hiring for September 2024! Lady Elizabeth School offers a state-of-the-art facility in which to work and this is a thriving Department looking for a Head of Maths to join a world-class setting from September 2024.

Key Areas Of Responsibility - Head Of Department Managing, developing and evaluating the subject curriculum.Look for, evaluate and then develop the learning taking place within their curriculum area by completing one Looking for Learning Visit a week.Keeping up to date with new initiatives and changes regarding their curriculum area and communicating information to the rest of the staff.Managing, developing and evaluating associated curriculum resources within the School, in consultation with the rest of the staff.Producing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring the application of the school policy associated with their curriculum area.Ensuring that assessment is regular and thorough and that associated records are maintained, in accordance with school policy.Participating in staff CPD in their curriculum area and offering ongoing support to teachers, particularly those new to the school.Liaising with their counterparts in the Primary School, where appropriate, particularly with regard to easing the transition of pupils from Year 6 to Year 7.Skills, Qualifications And Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Degree or equivalent in relevant subjects(s)Good up-to-date subject knowledge and practical skillsSuccessful secondary teaching experienceLady Elizabeth and ISP is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
