We are looking for a new colleague in our Aftermarket Division at our location in Barcelona/Spain.
What you can look forward to as Head of Marketplace (f/m/d):
Lead global 'Universal Marketplace' organization with adherent global marketplace communities of our Aftermarket Division, with ambition to support strategic business goals, influence purchasing decisions at interface between workshop and distribution level, grow our registered workshop customer base, enter into new countries, drive order volume and optimize EBIT, ROI and cash-flow of Marketplace.
Acts as CEO for Marketplace Platform and potential carved-out legal entity. Develop, execute and improve business plan and strategy with focus on positioning ZF as orchestrator of workshop digitalization and workshop commerce.
Build, manage and refine global 'Universal Marketplace' business unit as pioneer with clear USP, full-coverage listings, CX-optimized and AI-driven digital product.
Monitor and improve business and financial performance of Marketplace, internationalize and scale Marketplace across several regions and countries as well as initiate and drive key business and marketplace improvement initiatives.
Represent universal marketplace in public domain and in ZF Group.
Plan and forecast Marketplace performance based on advanced analytics and results monitoring.
Build, coach, grow, retain and inspire an agile, diverse and high-performing Universal Marketplace team. Lead the team by operating with a growth and team-first mindset, with clearly defined roles, career paths, succession plans, and employee success strategies. Ensure state-of-the-art leadership culture, competence, techniques and tools.
Your Profile as Head of Marketplace (f/m/d):
University degree, ideally MBA, a similar degree or extensive experience in similar roles.
Very strong leadership skills and proven experience in leading large teams to high performance in new and digital markets. Furthermore, proven track record of managing ventures as well as M&A's.
Very strong experience, expert knowledge and thought leadership in digital marketplace and e-Commerce.
Customer-centric attitude based on outside-in perspective and strong knowledge of automotive market, especially workshop aftermarket.
Highly analytical combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to build data-informed business strategies with clear sense of purpose, execution, and delivery.
Knowledge on Automotive Aftermarket and network in the Aftermarket would be a plus.
High influencing and impacting skills and the ability to manage global organization. Furthermore, change agent with strong change management skills with focus on leading disruption and managing required organizational transformation as well as talent developments.
The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; accountable, tenacious, and relentless about driving results.
Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly, lead others, communicate clearly and create solutions through complex situations.
