- Market Access is composed of a diverse team of 26 passionate professionals with in-depth healthcare system knowledge, sharing a common purpose which is to secure access to Sanofi medicines and vaccines to patients in need, bringing them in the best access conditions, and at the right time.
Job purpose & main responsibilities: - The primary responsibility of this role is the management of the areas of Value & Access, HEOR, and Pricing & Contracting, to ensure National, Regional and Hospital access (approx 172 selected accounts representing around 90% of sales).
- The incumbent is accountable for the development and execution of a successful market access strategy for national/regional/hospital/retail drugs, including HTA & price strategy for all Sanofi products throughout the product life cycle.
- The role is responsible for the consistent and coordinated representation of Spanish Market Access with key internal and external MAx stakeholders. This includes ensuring collaboration and co-creation with Global Market Access colleagues on the development and execution of critical Market Access deliverables and input into policy shaping projects.
- Being Spain a GBT country, the Head of MAx has a key role in contributing and co-creating, since early development phases, to the global access strategies & projects.
- This role is critical in ensuring the representation of local needs and opportunities in key Market Access Strategic Projects, locally and/or globally. He/She will foster Market Access leadership by supporting local capability development and talent management.
- Head of Market Access leads an expert team dedicated to:
Developing & implementing comprehensive access solutions, including reimbursement, formulary listing, access conditions & maintenance strategies and related tactics across the whole life cycle of drugs and vaccines.Securing the "Sanofi One Voice" to external stakeholders (governmental & non-governmental: national and local institutions, national, regional & hospital health authorities, KOLs, main trade associations, etc).Shaping the access environment and conditions to support sustainability of the business and growth in existing and future portfolio.- Country MAx Head's main remit also involves the early warning and alignment of topics that can have an impact on our business and anticipate & mitigate risks and benefit from opportunities.
- Support the planning, development and implementation of cross-GBUs and therapeutic area MAx strategies, programs and initiatives at the country level with all stakeholders to secure timely and effective patient access to our products and treatments.

- Sound business, scientific and pharmaco-economic knowledge.
