We are a dynamic and rapidly growing fintech group and are searching for an exceptional Head of Legal to lead our legal operations.
Main Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and direct the company's legal team, ensuring efficient operations and high performance.
Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on a wide range of business-related matters.
Oversee and coordinate the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements across various business functions.
Manage the company's litigation, dispute resolution, and legal representation on both national and international levels.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the business operations.
Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in the implementation of legal policies and procedures.
Develop and execute strategies to mitigate legal and business risks.
Supervise the department's budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law (with a preference for specialization in Corporate, Commercial Law, or a related field).
Strong knowledge of Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
Experience in financial institutions is highly valued.
At least 2 years of experience in senior legal roles, ideally within the financial sector.
In-depth knowledge of national legislation and legal frameworks.
Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to make key decisions.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in negotiating and structuring complex contracts.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure in a dynamic business environment.
