We are looking for our next Head of Legal of Axa Partners Spain.The Head of Legal AXA Partners Spain is responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality and effective day to day legal support, for all areas of the AXA Partners' business in Spain including new business activities, relationships with business partners, product development and operations.Responsible for ensuring that AXA Partners business and operational activities in Spain are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations and AXA's legal amp; corporate policies.
The role includes working with the Head of Legal MedLA to advise the Spanish business leadership team on the key legal risks facing the business and working to develop practical solutions and responses to these.This role involves overseeing all legal aspects of AXA Partners#39; business in Spain, including corporate and litigation topics.
Collaboration within the AXA Partners General Secretary team is essential to ensure a unified approach and effective support for the Spanish business team in line with their strategic priorities and resource needs.Your day to day will include:Provide legal and strategic guidance and support to all areas of the company (Network, Sales, HR, GGSS, etc) in ad hoc projects or deals.Ensuring that the Company keeps abreast of developments from a regulatory and legal perspective on a local and international levelFocus on early warning on any emerging issues, including legal or regulatory changesEnsure that work is progressed in a proactive and commercial way offering solutions and alternative approaches where appropriate Demonstrate high levels of visibility maximising opportunities to meet face to face (within travel restrictions).Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial and operational contracts, including legal documents and contracts such as service agreements, insurance agreements, data processing agreements, NDA's and other commercial agreements.Ensure appropriate escalation of issues and matters requiring approval.Working with Head of Legal MedLA to manage the workload, demonstrating efficiencies in terms of cost and time.Related to corporate, including the management of the Board of Directors as the Secretary.People Management: lead a highly motivated team ensuring resources are appropriately deployed and competencies matched to requirements.
Ensure effective development plans are in place for employees to support continuous improvement in performance and capability of technical and soft skills.
