What the job looks like Manage further strategic set-up and implementation of Compliance and Responsibility Program for Iberia in line with global Compliance and Responsibility ProgramRepresent Legal & Compliance in the Iberia Cluster Leadership Team, local boards and cross functional teams and provide strategic inputSetup processes to control and monitor that Grünenthal's activities are in line with regulations and pharmaceutical codes incl. establishment of adequate internal controls for identified risksPlan and supervise the implementation of the local trainings for Legal and ComplianceManage processes to be able to provide regular updates on non-financial metrics to Global ResponsibilityDraft, review and negotiate contractsManage court actions and, in case necessary, engage and coordinate external lawyers as neededOversee the digitalization of contracts and their proper distribution within GrünenthalManage potential non-compliance incidents incl. internal investigationsAct as Data Privacy Officer for Iberia and implement local Data Privacy Program for Iberia, provide solution-oriented legal advice to internal clients on data privacy topicsCoordinate all local initiatives and efforts in the area of AI GovernanceAct as the Secretary of the Grünenthal Spanish FoundationWhat you'll bring to the table Degree in Law requiredAt least five years of experience as a lawyer or inhouse counsel, preferably within the life science industry, at least 2 years experience as a compliance professional within the pharmaceutical industryLanguages: Fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in Portuguese is an advantageKnowledge of pharmaceutical and medical devices law, unfair competition, IP and corporate lawKnowledge of the relevant pharmaceutical marketGrünenthal is a global leader in pain management and related diseases.
