.The jobReporting to the Corporate IT Director, the job mission is to lead the IT infrastructure and related projects within Vidrala.The role involves designing and maintaining the Vidrala Group's IT infrastructure, with responsibility for the infrastructure exploitation systems concerning service availability, security, and capacity, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives.Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving strategy and innovation in the field of IT infrastructure.The challengeThe role will be crucial in terms of defining and implementing IT security policies, ensuring the reliability and security of digital information systems, and managing cross-departmental projects to support the organization's objectives.Your key responsibilitiesDefine and design the infrastructure department's set of organisational policies and procedures, within Information Systems.Define the IT security policies and procedures and ensure that they are implemented throughout the Company.Define the mechanisms for the recording of activity and error recovery, maintaining an appropriate level of risk and establishing the latent residual risk.Supervise the availability, reliability and security of the digital information systems.Supervise the correct use of the IT systems in all of the Group's work centres, participating in the production of manuals and the definition of best practices.Plan, supervise and coordinate the maintenance and updating of the operating systems, commercial and proprietary software, basis or support.Design the hardware policy, basic software, networks and communications, in respect of acquisitions, substitutions, etc. in conjunction with the IT Management.Resolve and coordinate incidents affecting the systems.Plan and coordinate the activities and technical and material resources and support staff with regard to operating systems, databases, ERP, messaging and communications.Ensure the reliability, consistency and evolution of the Network architecture and Telecommunications used by the IT Systems, including the local networks, WAN networks and communications with the Internet.Collaborate actively with other departments to define, plan, execute and monitor all cross-organisation projects authorised by Senior Management in relation to IT aspects, coordinating the IT technical personnel from the Group's various centres for this purpose.The requirementsBS degree, IT Engineering degree preferred. Telecommunications and systems architecture background as a must.You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position. Previous experience in industrial company is highly preferred.Fluency in English and Spanish.You like being responsible for projects in a dynamic international environment.You are continuously looking for ways to improve.You are able to work in cross-functional and cross-regional teams
