To ensure the technical architecture of the systems within the scope of the job and the coherence of all IT resources in the context of the smooth operation of application solutions. Special focus on systems integrated with Azure AD and our Microsoft 365 Tenant.
Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities:
Head of optimizing technical solutions.
Responsible for implementing recommended solutions in conjunction with the project head or application manager.
Chooses and implements the technological platforms required for the development and operation of applications (development platforms, data exchange platforms, databases, networks, etc.) based on the requirements expressed by the application and business architects and market standards, ensuring that the technical architecture evolves in line with market developments.
Drawing up the catalogue of standards and norms within its scope.
Participating in drawing up the team training plan, and providing technical support where necessary.
Validating the technical architecture of the information system in relation to internal standards and in line with the business strategy, recommending technical choices with a commitment to the required level of service, ensuring the interoperability of any new solution with the existing environment, and ensuring consistency between hardware, applications, operating systems, networks, etc.
Drafting technical specifications and associated acceptance specifications, defining a technical foundation that meets the requirements of the urbanization plan, and drafting technical support for the project during the development, testing, and operational implementation phases.
Providing technical and functional expertise on the projects with which it is associated. Defining the strategy for upgrading technical platforms in line with market developments, and including this in an annual technical plan.
Ensuring that technical components are working properly, carrying out analyses and improvement studies in the event of performance problems (e.g. response times, etc.).
Keeping a technological watch on his/her area of expertise, analyzing the impact of new solutions/new technologies on the information system.
Understand the functional requirements and technical constraints of the business in collaboration with the application manager(s), and if necessary, carry out a market study.
Participate in a call for tenders and prepare a costing.
Education: Higher education in IT (or equivalent, Industrial, Telecom, Mathematics, Physics).
Skills & Specifications: Multi-disciplinary IT engineer.
Good knowledge of Microsoft products in general, with specific additional focus on Microsoft 365 licensing.
Good knowledge of Azure (specific focus on Azure AD).
Powershell scripting (experience with Graph API would be really beneficial).
Work Experience Requirements: At least 5 years experience as an IT architect or a similar position.
Languages: English mandatory, Spanish recommended.
