.JOB SUMMARY: The Head of HR and Front Office Manager provides a professional organised HR service to all members of staff and has general oversight over customer facing functions of the administration. In HR, the role covers the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit in accordance with employment law and in alignment with the relevant regulatory bodies. The HR Manager plays an active role in the day-to-day running of our busy school and supports our vision of being the school of choice within the community. The role of the HR Manager is to work with all departments to build and maintain a positive working environment,ensure fair people processes and promote engagement for all employees to support the school's mission and values. The oversight of the front office includes light touch supervision of reception, school shop, and the school nurse. The HR Manager will report directly to the Principal on personnel management, to the Head of Administration on all finance and legal aspects of HR, and functionally to the regional Head of HR often for advice and support. They will collaborate with other functions and the academic leadership to ensure a smooth running of HR operations. The Human Resources Manager consistently works towards outstanding performance across all professional standards, ensuring safeguarding and successful outcomes, not least in hiring the best talent as well as the efficient and effective administrative operations. To lead some departments of the administrative team, providing a friendly and welcoming service to students, staff, families, and visitors in a manner that truly reflects the values of our school.The post holder is expected to be able to prioritise tasks and manage their workload with a minimum of supervision. The school's pursuit of excellence begins at our front gates, and this role should actively seek to ensure an outstanding public perception of our operations and provision.PERSON SPECIFICATION:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.Three to five years of related experience required.Bilingual in Spanish and English.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar tools.Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise time and workload to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.Friendly, approachable, professional, discreet, able to work independently and as part of a team, and to earn the trust and respect of all staff.Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively; listen to and understand information and ideas as presented verbally and in writing.Experience of working in HR in a school is desirable.Ability to communicate perfectly in written and spoken English and Spanish.A positive solution-focused approach.An understanding of and commitment to the school's values
