As a Head of Frontend Engineering at Qonto, you will: Leadership & People Management: Manage 3 teams of 15+ engineers.Coach your team leaders and engineers to maintain quality and velocity while the team grows and complexity increases.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to managers, empowering them to make decisions and grow in their roles. Strategic delivery & Technical impact: Drive delivery of product features and improvements with a high level of quality and on time.Drive the ongoing React migration project, balancing technical debt reduction with new feature development. Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management: Spread a culture of continuous improvement: learn how to write better code to ship features faster.Foster collaboration with partner teams such as Product, Data, Backend, Mobile & and with third parties. What you can expect: We value the analysis phase of software delivery. We're putting a heavy emphasis on upfront technical designs, code reviews, and smart slicing. About your future team: You will be part of a team with high standards of performance. We strive for excellence in management: we developed a comprehensive management training program from scratch in only five weeks. This program is now used by several Tech teams to fast-track engineers to a Lead's position.
Our web apps were developed using the Ember.js framework, and we have released several open-source JavaScript libraries. The Web team is planning the migration to a brand-new stack based on React. Now is an exciting time to join!
