We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our new production team in Hengelo focusing on the manufacturing of our novel turbojet flight vehicle.The Head of Flight Systems Production will be responsible for establishing and leading a production unit for the manufacturing of our novel turbojet flight vehicles.
This includes overseeing the entire setup process from scratch including team assembly, site selection, equipment procurement, and process development.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing small to medium-scale production teams (up to 100 people), particularly in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, assembly, metal fabrication, or machinery manufacturing.ResponsibilitiesAssemble and lead a production team of up to 100 employees.Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.Provide mentorship and training to team members.Select and lease suitable production facilities.Manage resources including labor, materials, and equipment maximizing productivity.Develop and implement lean and continuous improvement principles to enhance efficiency in production processes.Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure timely and quality output.Develop and monitor production schedules.Oversee inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary components without overstocking.Implement and oversee quality control procedures.Create detailed technological process maps.Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including military security, environmental, and industry standards.Implement and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and prevent accidents.Plan and execute the production line setup within the stipulated time frame.Coordinate with other departments (e.G., R&D, procurement) to ensure smooth operation.Handle budget management and resource allocation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management specifically in aeronautical assemblies, metal fabrication, or machinery manufacturing.Proven experience in setting up and managing production facilities from scratch.Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams of up to 100 people.In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.Excellent project management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.G., CAD, ERP systems).#J-18808-Ljbffr
