Linde GmbH, Gases Division Head of Finance Systems & Processes - Region Europe West (m/f/d) Pullach nearby Munich, Germany or Barcelona, Spain (req17456) What you will enjoy doing In this role you will have disciplinary and subject matter leadership of small team in Finance and Controlling to develop, and implement projects relating to process design, process mining, automation, outsourcing, and other relevant FiCo systems You will act as a program or project manager for complex finance and cross-functional initiatives, including responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality Further you will act as a facilitator between the finance- and controlling- teams and business partners to transform requirements into technically detailed, system- or process- based concepts ready for implementation You will act as a sparring partner to the Executive Director Finance & Control REW to support digital transformation of the REW Finance function by creating a FiCo Digital Transformation Agenda for the next 2-3 years Additionally you will set, evaluate, and determine regional-wide system and process priorities to deliver added value, efficiency, and transparency in line with Linde, EMEA, REW and FiCo priorities The developement of business cases underlying project proposals, and control for project costs is part of your role You will gather, analyze, and document process, and IT related requirements You are expect to proactively communicate with stakeholders, including REW executive management, business unit finance heads, and cross-functional business partners in IT, Marketing and Sales, and HR Furthermore you should be prepared to deliver on ad-hoc data and analysis requests of the Executive Director Finance & Control REW on short notice What makes you great You have a university degree (bachelor or master) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Business Informatics and minimum of 5-10 years working experience within finance and controlling or a related field, ideally with career experience in connection with program, project and process management, digitalization, and IT systems You have experience in leading small project teams (5-10 individuals), or prior disciplinary leadership experience is of advantage In addition you can demonstrate knowledge over digital solutions and IT systems and as well as the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new processes and finance systems (e.g., SAP, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Business Warehouse) You are highly structured, and have the ability to reduce complexity, and you have the ability to win others over and a manage organizational change Moreover you are self-motivated, and have the ability to anticipate and move quickly between diverse demands Further you possess an excellent command of English and the ability to communicate both written and spoken in German You are willing to engage in regional travel, on a strictly a limited but variable basis (maximum 5% - 10%) Why you will love working with us Thinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, deliver great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.
