Job PurposeA leading airline is looking for a "Head of Finance Operations" to be located in Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, or London.The role is responsible for contributing to generate valuable knowledge for the Management committee decision-making process and influencing to get the most profitable and financially robust operations model. The candidate will lead and coordinate transversal work streams throughout the company (involving all areas) to ensure the Company accomplishes the targets, maximizes operating/variable margin, and minimizes operations costs. Setting the right KPIs and analytics to move the company forward and explore internal-external information to drive the company into a better competitive position against other market agents.Main AccountabilitiesCollaborating, supporting, and influencing Financial Planning processes from an Operations perspective, such as Weekly, Financial Plan, Reforecast, and 5-year Business Plans of the company.Adaptive analytics tools and reports to deliver the right granularity detail to understand the performance of the Company's operations and potentially adopt decisions/corrections/lesson learnings. Analyze monthly deviations in operations financial performance and provide the Management Committee members with the main insights to keep the company improving in that sense.Along with the Head of Financial Controlling, coordinate monthly and quarterly Revenues and Capacity Reporting to the Investor Relations team.Main Responsibilities - TasksLead and coordinate Action Plans (Capacity Perform meetings) with all areas of the company to ensure target achievements and maximize new performance opportunities.Set the right analytics and variables to provide meaningful business insight at each moment.Support the main stakeholders to improve the tracking process and collaborate to evaluate the impact of their actions.Research, explore, and analyze external information: Macroeconomics, Peers Financials, demand and leisure markets to better understand position and help the company improve from a strategic, economic, and operative perspective.Develop new tools and methodologies to better understand all the factors influencing our business.Main RelationshipsInternal: Management committee Directors, Senior Managers, and Managers from Operations, Strategy, Commercial Planning, Revenue Management, Data, Network, and Communications.External: Group Financial Planning, other Operators, Investor Relations, external consulting groups, Rating Companies, Leisure demand/offer suppliers, and Macroeconomic analysts.RequirementsBachelor's degree in ADE, Engineering, or Economics.Master's Degree will be valued.ExperienceSolid airline Industry experience (understanding of Operations costs).Strong experience in financial modeling.#J-18808-Ljbffr
