The RoleOur Head of Engineering role offers a unique opportunity to build, lead, coach and develop an efficient and globally dispersed Engineering team that builds products for over 90,000 customers.

Key ResponsibilitiesTogether with your product counterpart, shape and grow your organization to ensure it delivers the expected business outcomes.Develop your function's vision and mission statement.
Scope and own a problem space to achieve an excellent product experience for our customers.Support and grow a group of Engineering Managers, ensuring they have the right support in their roles as well as the right challenges to grow.Support your Engineering Managers in building high performing engineering teams.Be an important member of the SMB engineering leadership team, together improving our shared engineering practices and ways of working.Set and execute on strategy retaining engineering talent.
Create an engineering environment where Engineers have job satisfaction, feel that their work is valuable, and are allowed to be efficient and innovative.Play a key role in helping us continue to attract, develop and retain great engineering talent.Be responsible for the technical success of your organization.
Together with your architect, provide the teams with context and guidance to ensure we together build a cohesive product.Manage and develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders within and outside the SMB organization.Leading the way as a clear role model living the Sinch SMB values.RequirementsYou have proven experience as a technical leader of a larger organization, leading through others as a manager of managers.You have proven experience of developing, mentoring and growing high performing engineering teams.Prior to becoming a technical leader, you have extensive experience working hands-on as a Software Engineer in an agile environment.You possess a deep understanding of how to translate product and business goals into tech strategies.In the past, you have solved problems that affect the larger company engineering organization as well as your own organization.You have experience or interest in transforming a delivery organization into product teams - Small empowered teams of engineers, product managers, designers and analysts working close to customers together solving problems.You have an entrepreneurial mindset and focus on commercial outcomes.You are passionate about what you do and have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices.Fluent English.Please submit your resume in English.
