As the Head of the Core Platforms Engineering team, you will be primarily responsible for DT One's CORE platform. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from inception to deployment to operations. As the Head of Engineering (CORE Platform), you have to be comfortable around both back-end and front-end coding technologies, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. This skill set should also extend to cloud platforms, systems administration, DevOps/SRE tools and systems, data design and database tuning, CI/CD, and SRE practices, among others. Finally, you would also be a team player with a knack for delivering production-grade mission-critical platforms and software, with a strong emphasis on delivering optimal user experience.ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for a highly driven, self-motivated, technically proficient technology leader who is truly excited about having a meaningful impact within the company. In this role, you will combine a startup mindset with the scale of an industry leader:Lead a team of engineers and be accountable for maintaining the CORE platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and that it meets and exceeds the uptime SLA.Provide L3 support for production & critical issues as & when required.Mentor a global network of software, solution delivery, and infrastructure engineers, providing guidance to enhance their technical and professional skills.Design and develop scalable, robust, and highly-efficient software systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and operations to define product roadmaps and align on project objectives.Write, create, and design comprehensive technical references and documentation.Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making in the greater technology team, continuously improving development processes, tools, and methodologies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred
