Requirements: - Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies with electronics components.
- Establish Advanced Purchasing Strategies in collaboration with technical departments of the company for key products.
- Participate in the establishment of processes and systems to excel in the management and purchasing of electronics.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Manage and evaluate the department performance and development.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Profile: - Experience managing teams (preferably big teams from 7 direct reportings).
- Experience with electronics components.
- Experience with international market (America, Asia).
- Experience in industrial environment and/or automotive.
Education: - BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
- Engineering degree in electronics is a plus.
Soft Skills: - Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present effectively.
- Problem-solving skills.
