We are looking for a Head of Consumer Product and UX! This is a strategic role that fully owns our consumer-facing hardware and software product and UX. It is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Chief Architect and Data.Job responsibilitiesOwn our smart alarm system offering across markets including deciding on hardware components to include, vendors, and key strategies such as buy vs build in house.Make our mobile app world class by enabling advanced automations and top customer care, including through LLM-powered chatbot.Develop and execute a product strategy driven by qualitative and quantitative insights.Lead and mentor a team of 3 designers and 3 product managers/owners.Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align product strategy with business goals.Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.Drive the adoption of modern product discovery techniques (e.G. Sillicon valley group product framework) to translate business requirements and customer feedback into a product roadmap, with a well-articulated prioritization rationale.Own product roadmaps, prioritize features, and manage product backlogs.Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Write PRDs to articulate use cases, UI/UX design specifications, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.Conduct product reviews and coordinate pilot launches.Lead the design and user experience efforts for the consumer app and smart alarm system.Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales and marketing.Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to business stakeholders and countries.Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the product vision is adequately communicated.Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team.Stay up to date with new technology trends such as AI and best practices in UX design and product management.Implement data-driven approaches to measure and improve user satisfaction and engagement.Stay up to data with new development in the IoT and smart homes market/space.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or related technical field.Proficient in spoken and written English.8+ years of experience in UX design and product management, with a focus on consumer-facing products.Proven track record of successfully leading and managing UX and product teams.Experience with successfully implementing product discovery frameworks.Experience in hardware product management including a good knowledge of IoT components, component assessment/testing, and writing vendor RFPs
