HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT of DATA CENTERSA leading multinational Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the Renewable Energy sector is seeking a highly motivated Head of Business Development to create a new business line regarding their Data Centers.
They are dedicated to generating clean and renewable energy from diverse sources, including photovoltaic, green hydrogen, concentrated solar power (CSP), biomethane, wind, hydroelectric, and cogeneration technologies, with a rapidly expanding presence in Spain and key international markets such as the USA, UK, France, Italy, and Poland.
As a renewable energy producer, they aim to take a leading role in the Data Center market by not only supplying power but also managing the entire energy generation process with a focus on sustainable, climate-controlled energy solutions.
Mission: As Head of Business Development, you will be a senior executive responsible for leading and managing the Data Center initiatives of the company and offering solutions to clients.
A person with a strong Business Development and Consultant strategy attitude with a focus on Data Centers and their energy consumption, along with a robust background in Data Centers in different sectors of Renewable Energy (wind, solar, biomethane, etc.
).
Responsibilities: Energy Demand Development: Understanding the energy consumption in Data Centers and integrating innovative and sustainable solutions.Developing Strategies: Expanding the customer base and increasing market share through effective business development strategies.Business Development: Contracting new businesses for building Data Centers.Requirements: At least 5+ years of experience in Business Development/Consulting within the Energy/Electricity sectors and in Data Centers.Graduate Engineer in (Chemical, Energy, Industrial) or a related field.Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and profitability.Strong client management and negotiation skills with solid commercial skills (B2B and B2C).Soft Skills: A person with impact, intuition, and good strategic, negotiation, and communication skills.
Great leadership skills and the ability to develop and grow the business line of the company.
A motivated and goal-oriented individual.English C1 or higher is a must.What do we offer? Salary range: Attractive flexible compensation package (Basic + Variable + Social Benefits).
