About this opportunity The objective of Ericsson Consulting is to deliver engagements that generate value for our customers and enable greater value to Ericsson. We are looking for a highly experienced Operational Consulting Leader to lead the BSS Digital Engagement Consulting Practice and to be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team.
For this position, we need a highly regarded leader/professional with strong expertise in the Business Support Systems (BSS) and Enterprise Architecture area to execute consulting engagements operationalizing current & future technologies like 5G, Cloud, mobile, IoT, and fixed line networks. In this role, you will bring in solid expertise and experience on the process, know-how of latest industry standards, and knowledge of one or more Ericsson BSS products, to complement existing capabilities in Global Consulting.
The Consulting Leader needs to be a:
Business leader with a strong impact on customers and senior executives Sales leader with proven track record of engaging with clients, creating proposals, and closing deals Strategy leader with strong view on leading telecom trends and Consulting value propositions/offers Portfolio leader with capability to identify, craft, sell, and deliver Consulting propositions Team leader who has a proven track record of growing teams and managing senior BSS/Digital Engagement Consulting professionals Additionally, being able to collaborate with peer Consulting leaders worldwide will be needed. You will be working with CxO at Ericsson customers - leading Telcos and Enterprises - chalking out the EA, Impact assessment, and process roadmaps.
These engagements will require you to be perceived by clients and colleagues as highly dependable and domain credible. You will also be working with senior sales leaders at Ericsson sales units to understand the key pain points of Ericsson Sales Leaders and position Consulting engagements to CSPs and Enterprises in a way that enables greater value for Ericsson.
To enable differentiated value propositions, you will collaborate with Ericsson colleagues from different business functions - Enterprise, Core, Networks, etc. - to create cross-functional and differentiated value propositions. You will develop innovative consulting value propositions to customers, develop consulting opportunities, craft solutions for customers, and contribute to the delivery of consulting workstreams. This means that you will drive customer engagements from lead generation to project delivery while leading an experienced team of global consultants in the BSS and Digital Engagement Transformation domain. The role is Global and you will travel internationally based on customer demand.
What you will do Drive the global P&L and key objectives of the BSS Digital Engagement Consulting domain Strong capability to work with technology professionals - Sales and Solution Architects - and identify Consulting opportunities Leverage your knowledge in EA & BSS domain areas, operating models, and system tools process along with latest industry standards, and knowledge of one or more Ericsson BSS products Identify end-to-end leading consulting value propositions/offering in the BSS Digital Engagement Consulting domain, develop innovative consulting offerings, and manage the global portfolio of offerings Develop BSS Digital Engagement consulting related opportunities, contribute to consulting proposals, and guide/lead delivery of consulting projects/programs across the globe Engage as thought leader at CxO level Lead, develop, and grow the BSS Digital Engagement consulting team comprising senior members Manage stakeholders in Consulting communities across geographies As a Leader within Global Consulting Team, actively think and contribute outside your domain to reach overall Consulting objectives and business success Provide high-value industry insights to Ericsson's strategy process, using delivered projects and developed assets You will bring Domain Expertise Areas Technology: Technical domain understanding of the various BSS systems landscape, knowledge of industry standards and architectures in the field of digital services, like ODA, DPRA, DSRA, Open API etc., knowledge of Digital Service Provider use cases and various business models in the field of 5G, IoT, Cloud, fixed and mobile networks, and proficiency in/knowledge of the Ericsson solution portfolio in the BSS area is a plus. Enterprise Architecture: EA Gap assessment and target architecture design, transformation approach and roadmap design, EA Governance setup for service provider, knowledge of EA standards like TOGAF, Zachman and familiarity with tools (e.g., SPARX, ARIS etc.) Transformation: Expertise in delivery of transformation programs involving BSS solution architectures and systems integration, strong knowledge and certifications of standards such as TOGAF, ITIL and standard architecture.
