Mission: Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the quality of the accounting information in accordance with Bank of Spain and IFRS accounting standards and the adherence to BNNPP PF procedures and internal control framework.
Lead the accounting team to achieve the goals of the Finance transformation strategy which aims to enhance the Finance foundations and industrialize finance through automation and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounts payables, cash management and accounting operations in compliance with Group procedures and policies.Ensure accurate monthly estimation of Accruals and Provisions.Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly financial statements.
Own the monthly closing process in Navision and ensure Group closing dates are adhered to.Collaborate with other departments to understand the accounting implications of the business practices and support strategic projects.Ensure adherence to BNPP PF internal control framework.
Reinforcement of LOD1 controls.Assist in external and internal audits and ensure the implementation of a continuous improvement process as well as the completion of the recommendations action plans by the due date.Lead the automation and process optimization process in close collaboration with the Finance Operating Office team.Inspire and support the team in their career development and facilitate a cultural change by intensifying a data-driven mindset.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
Experience in Big 4 is desirable.Industry experience in working for a comparable institution in the Finance Department is a must.Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and Bank of Spain requirements.Experience in systems implementation and/or optimization and ability to communicate change requirements to IT teams.Experience in leading teams through change, in a fast-paced environment.Language:
