We are seeking a Head of Accounting for a German Multinational Pharmaceutical Company.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Accounting for a German multinational pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in similar roles, proficiency in Navision, good understanding of consolidation processes and a strong ability managing teams.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP (German-Gaap)Lead the consolidation process of financial statements across multiple entities.Implement and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.Manage and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure successful audit results and compliance with all tax regulations.Oversee the implementation and optimization of Navision, ensuring it meets the company's financial reporting requirements.Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.Facilitate the integration of financial processes and systems during mergers and acquisitions.Support the relocation process to Germany, ensuring a smooth transition for the accounting functions and team.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.G., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in accounting roles, with a significant portion in leadership positions.Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is essential.Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes.Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams.Excellent knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (German-Gaap).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Willingness to (optionally) relocate to Germany.Proficiency in English and in German is required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
