Your Role in Our Journey Oversee the preparation of monthly statutory accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
Lead the month-end closing process and provide expertise on technical accounting queries.
Ensure, Accounting figures are presented timely and accurately, and are well regarded as the source of truth.
Manage a team, ensuring efficient workflow and professional development.
Support our internal teams with both local and international tax compliance.
Support VAT reporting and tax compliance efforts.
Ensure compliance with local GAAP standards, manage audits, and prepare financial statements.
Proactively optimise processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Act as the primary contact for various departments and external parties (tax consultants, auditors) regarding accounting matters.
Your impact Experience: You have 10+ years of experience in accounting roles, ideally in a leadership or senior position.
Education: You hold a secondary degree in Accounting, or similar fields.
Knowledge: Good understanding of UGB (Austrian Commercial Code) or demonstrated ability to adapt to local GAAP, and exposure to IFRS.
Skills: Proficient in the full monthly closing process, audit preparation, and financial statement preparation.
Attributes: You are a team player with the ability to work independently when needed. Accuracy, reliability, and a passion for working with numbers are second nature to you.
Language: Fluent in both English and German.
Tools: Proficient in MS Office; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
