Overseeing all functions of housekeeping, laundry, and ironing, you will work alongside the part-time cleaner to ensure that all of these duties are completed to the highest standard, as well as taking care of the more admin-focused and managerial aspects of the property such as ensuring all maintenance tasks are carried out, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and being the family's point of contact for their Ibiza home. You will be self-motivated, diligent, and trustworthy, able to manage your time effectively to ensure that the house is kept in an immaculate condition year-round. The family visits the property a few times per year, usually staying about 2 weeks at a time, and would expect flexibility in terms of working hours and days when they are in residence. When they are not there, working hours can be flexible, as long as the house is maintained to a high standard.DUTIES TO INCLUDE:Management of all household laundry, including clothing, fine fabrics, linens etc.Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items.Daily cleaning of the property and working collaboratively with the part-time Cleaner to ensure all duties are carried out.Preparing bedrooms for guest arrival, making beds, and changing bed linen.Provisioning and taking stock of all household items.Drawing up and following weekly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas regularly get cleaned.Polishing antiques, marble, silverware, and crystal.Welcoming and greeting guests and contractors, offering refreshments.Managing household bills and accounts in liaison with the family's PA.Liaising with contractors and ground staff to ensure the property is maintained at all times.Taking care of any minor defects and repairs in and around the house.Dealing quickly and responsibly with any issues that arise.Ad-hoc errand running and driving duties.ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:Previous experience in a Head Housekeeper role supporting a HNW family.Meticulous and very high attention to detail.Well-presented, polished, and positive 'can-do' attitude.Excellent communication skills.Good standard of written and spoken English and any knowledge of Spanish is highly desired.Confident driver with a valid driving license.Longevity as demonstrated by previous employment.Able to prioritise and multitask effectively.Right to live and work in Spain.Excellent checkable references.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent#J-18808-Ljbffr
