Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the rest of the team to follow through with the present development plan. Offer scientific guidance from a drug discovery and development standpoint. Stay notified on trends and evolving developments concerning R&D in senescence, immunology, oncology, and fibrotic illnesses. Guide and develop the implementation of drug finding and preclinical development programs from target nomination to preclinical and possible first-in-human clinical POC. Any other assigned duties. Key Skills: Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders. Requirements: PhD in a relevant field (e.G., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology), with knowledge in immunology and oncology ideally. At least 5-10 years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including significant experience in leading Research and Development activities. Background in taking molecules from early discovery to DC nomination. Experience in the development of biopharmaceutical products (e.G., monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins). Comprehension of using patient-derived clinical, epidemiological, and biological data and the implementation of such data to refine drug discovery involving innovative target nomination. Fluent in English and Spanish. Willing to travel for business needs.
