We are looking for a Head Chef specialised in Spanish cuisine to join a new project, Lola Taberna (Spanish restaurant), one of our seasonal venues in Cabo Negro (Morocco) ,who will continue after the season in the team working for future projects in the Tanger area.Main Responsibilities Manage the resources of the kitchen and ensure that the support systems to the kitchen, restaurant, and outdoor function operations are running effectively and within budget.Control kitchen costs to ensure that the restaurant meets budget and increases profitability.Control kitchen maintenance, repairs, and other related expenses.Monitor ordering and receiving food products and other supplies as required for daily operations.Observe compliance with the company's policies and procedures, as well as governmental laws and regulations.Supervise and participate in the preparation and production of all food products.Inspect all food and products to ensure they are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.Inspect product quality during and after preparation and make adjustments as required.Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the store's preventive maintenance programs.Meet customer requirements in terms of special requests and dietary needs.Manage the kitchen staff through coaching and training in order to improve.Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.Qualifications Culinary Arts Diploma or similar degree.Experience with Spanish cuisine.Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a large, fast-paced kitchen.Prior management experience in a similar kitchen environment.Fluent in English and good level of French.Excellent knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and Sanitation.Ability to maintain high quality control standards.Highly cooperative team spirit.Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead by example in a multicultural environment.Problem-solving skills.Benefits Competitive Salary.Discounts Across Sunset's Venues: Experience the Sunset lifestyle to the fullest with exclusive discounts at all our venues and beyond.Career Growth Opportunities: Your professional journey is our priority.
