.About Olala HomesOlala Group is a fast-growing tech-enabled real estate management and hospitality company with headquarters in Barcelona.We are part of a hospitality group that manages over 1200 accommodation units, such as short-term rentals, hotels, and other unique stays, as well as 10 F&B assets, across multiple countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.Our mission is to provide our guests with unique hospitality experiences while promoting an efficient and sustainable way of travelling with style.Since our beginning in 2014, we have expanded our operations to 17 cities and are on our way to continue growing in different markets worldwide by offering travellers smart/digital and stylish accommodations and high-level service.The Olala Group team provides unique hospitality experiences while promoting efficient and stylish travel.Your roleWe are seeking a dynamic, creative, and passionate Head Chef to join our team.As a Head Chef, you will be mainly responsible for leading the kitchen team, providing exceptional culinary experiences across various outlets, including restaurants, events, room service, and bars.This position requires experience in menu development, team leadership, operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality and food safety standards.This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry and be part of the fast growth of our company.Your JourneyMenu Development: Create and enhance menus for all outlets, incorporating seasonal ingredients, local flavors, and guest preferences.
Ensure menus align with the hotel's brand and target market, offering variety and value.Operational Management: Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, scheduling, and workflow management.
Monitor and manage stock levels, orders, and supplier relationships, ensuring cost control and quality.Quality and Consistency: Maintain high standards of menu presentation, taste, and consistency.
Regularly review and adapt recipes to meet guest expectations.Hygiene and Safety: Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and the hotel's hygiene and safety standards.
Train the team in proper food handling and sanitation practices.Team Leadership and Training: Recruit, train, guide, and inspire the kitchen team to achieve excellence.
Promote teamwork, efficiency, and a high-motivation work environment.Collaboration with the Banquet and Events Team: Work closely with the events team to create menus and coordinate food preparation, ensuring quality and timely service.Equipment and Maintenance: Monitor kitchen equipment, ensure proper use, and coordinate maintenance or replacements as needed.What do you bring to your tripProven experience as a Head Chef in full-service hotels or fine dining establishments.Leadership and organizational experience, with the ability to manage a diverse team.Expertise in cost control, budgeting, and stock management
