At our head offices, you'll be able to start to immerse yourself in your role, take an in-depth look at the script of our Company and discover the benefits of forming part of this story.**Job Summary**: As Executive Chef you will Guarantee optimal economic, quality and hygiene ratios within its area of responsibility in Food and Beverage, by planning, organizing and controlling the Kitchen´s Department functions.The coordination and management of its work team must be assumed in order to ensure the right execution of the operational activities related to the production of meals and their distribution to the restaurant or to the sale/service points, with the purpose of increasing the profitability.**What will I be doing?**- You will collaborate in the creation of the budget and you will ensure compliance with the KPIs established therein.- You will participate in the improvement of income in the F&B; area, such as F&B; income, direct cost control, waste control (food waste), reduction of personnel costs,

reduction of energy consumption and savings in investment in kitchens.- You will implement projects, programs, tools, as well as marked processes in your hotel, ensuring the proper use and training of teams. In this sense, you will actively participate in the pilots of new projects, tools and processes, ensuring their correct implementation.- You will be the person in charge of the communication of the most notable events and news of your hotelsAt the HR level, you will plan the schedule, roles of breaks, vacations, you will identify and propose people with Talent for Development plans, and you will participate in the selection of the team together with HR.- In terms of food safety, you will attend hygienic-sanitary audits and if there are incidents,

you will develop and implement action plans in order to solve them.- All with the focus and sole purpose of guaranteeing the correct and successful operation.**What are we looking for?**- Intermediate Professional Training in Cooking or similar.Training in HACCP, Labor Risk Prevention, nutrition, modern cuisine and cost control.Mid-level office package.English level : B1-B2.Experience of five years developing Head Chef functions in hotels, preferably in different continents.Service and results orientation, leadership, organization and decision making.**What will it be like to work for Meliá Hotels International?****Meliá Hotels International** is unique among the 20 largest international hotel groups in having an origin in leisure and the ideal size to combine exceptional hospitality with management that is efficient and close to its stakeholders.
