Job Summary: As Executive Chef, you will guarantee optimal economic, quality, and hygiene ratios within your area of responsibility in Food and Beverage, by planning, organizing, and controlling the Kitchen's Department functions. You will coordinate and manage your work team to ensure the right execution of the operational activities related to the production of meals and their distribution to the restaurant or to the sale/service points, with the purpose of increasing profitability.
What will I be doing? You will collaborate in the creation of the budget and ensure compliance with the KPIs established therein.You will participate in improving income in the F&B area, such as F&B income, direct cost control, waste control (food waste), reduction of personnel costs, reduction of energy consumption, and savings in investment in kitchens.You will implement projects, programs, and tools, ensuring proper use and training of teams.You will communicate the most notable events and news of your hotels.At the HR level, you will plan schedules, roles of breaks, vacations, and identify and propose people with Talent for Development plans.You will attend hygienic-sanitary audits and develop and implement action plans to solve any incidents.What are we looking for? Intermediate Professional Training in Cooking or similar.Training in HACCP, Labor Risk Prevention, nutrition, modern cuisine, and cost control.Mid-level office package.English level: B1-B2.Experience of five years developing Head Chef functions in hotels, preferably in different continents.Service and results orientation, leadership, organization, and decision-making.What will it be like to work for Meliá Hotels International?
