About our partner: On behalf of our partner, Smurfit Westrock, we are looking for the best talent to join Rindus.Smurfit Westrock is an FTSE 100 company and one of the world's leading providers of paper-based packaging, with operations in 40 countries and 500+ packaging converting plants.
With the company's headquarters in the Netherlands, you will work as a freelancer in a distributed new team from our office in Málaga.What you'll be doing: To continue developing Smurfit Westrock's internal business application (which manages sales, billing, logistics, shipping processes, etc.
), we are looking for a Freelance Senior UX/UI Designer to assist our development team in unifying our enterprise web application and improving the user experience for our Smurfit Westrock employees.
Some of the responsibilities are:Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the SW development team.Advise the team on the design tools best suited to the project.Working closely with the team, you will create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.You will create and perfect SW's design project and ensure that all creations are well set up across all our environments.Apply the Design Thinking methodology.You will assist SW's front-end team in answering any questions about design rules they may have.You will be the main point of contact for the SW team and will assist the team with fixing design errors, bugs, and corrections and creating new designs if necessary.You will also set up a framework for conducting continuous UX/UI testing to identify and resolve UX/UI-related issues.You will ensure that SW's design standards are consistently and appropriately applied within all design work.You will continuously research new UX/UI ideas and propose them to the SW team when designing.What you'll bring: You have 5+ years of experience (especially in business applications).
Bring experience with projects built with Angular.
The candidate will present his/her portfolio of applications/designs to the partner and explain how these designs reached customer needs.
Native or Advanced level of English and Spanish.
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, graphic design, UX/UI design, product design, or any other relevant field.
Extended experience with UX/UI design tools.
