What you'll do : The role's purpose is to conduct hardware engineering design and homologation tests on Consumer home devices (CPEs, WiFi extenders, and other consumer products in the TelCo area).
This includes: Perform routers and WAN technologies HARDWARE design (FTTH, VOIP, IPTV, WiFi, ADSL, VDSL, etc.)
Design of CPE hw architecture (schematics, BOM, PCB layout) Configure and maintain test environment for the integration and the hw/fw validation of CPE's/Modems/Routers Collaborate actively with the Software team to define the operating logics of the CPEs Create and maintain test and configuration related documentation for new and existing setups Development, documentation, qualification and engineering of new CPEs Customization, maintenance, and enhancement of existing HW architecture Specification of hardware and system functionalities, test procedures compliant to VF internal guidelines Verification & validation according to internal and international standards Writing specifications of hardware and system functionalities, test procedures Who you are : Must have technical/professional qualifications and experience: English language (Fluent oral and written) Experience in Fixed Access environment Knowledge in the following technology areas: WiFi, GPON/XGSPON, DOCSIS, DSL, Bluetooth, IoT Experience in the HW development and production of CPE's, WiFi extenders and/or other consumer products in the TelCo area Knowledge and experience of the main xDSL/FTTH/WIFI chipset vendors Experience with HW CPE vendors Knowledge of configuring network testbeds and setups to test routers and related LAN technologies Familiarity with OSI model, TCP/IP, IEEE 802.11xx, DNS, IPTV, IGMP, firewalls, Linux, TR-069, TR-104, VoIP What's in it for you : Possibility of hybrid working Direct Contract with Vodafone VOIS Ticket Restaurants Intensive Summer Hours (8:00 am-3:00 pm) Social benefits Flexible retribution plan Training plan 25 days of vacation + December 24 and 31 Together we can : At Vodafone, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
