Could you be the full-time Hardware Design Engineer Trackside (fixed term contract) in Madrid we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your hardware design expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
You'll report work alongside young and proactive teammates. You'll be responsible for the design of all necessary drawings for detailed design of an electronic interlocking, from the basic drawings including the devices positioned on the track, to the specific drawings defining all the electrical connections between devices. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, safety, etc.), be in charge of the technical choices for the design of signalling cabinets and much more.
You'll specifically take care of basic design definition, but also objects controller's application design.
We'll look to you for:
Specific HW application (including interfaces application, energy or telecom cabinets,...)
Development of typical installation drawings and definition of installation constraints
Technical support to installation and commissioning activities considered into the project scope
Development of as-built drawings
Support to installation team in track surveys
Support to tender team to define detailed design workload estimation

Engineering Degree (Mechanical preferred)
0-2 years of experience as Railways Engineer or similar in other markets.
Largely multidisciplinary and polyvalent profile (mainly mechanical)
Knowledge in AutoCAD.
Ability to work with remote contacts in a multidisciplinary context.
Ability to be the representative of the company for our customers
Good knowledge of English language allowing collaboration within a technical world in an international context. French is valuable.
