Overview:When you join Hines, you will work alongside innovative leaders who set the standards responsible for our reputation as an industry leader today, and you'll be a part of shaping our future in the years to come.**Responsibilities**:As a Handyman with Hines, you will play a crucial role in the success of our residences. You are part of the exciting and brand new aparto Student Housing, the first of the chain in Spain. Just as important: you are responsible for every aspect of the maintenance of the building. You will carry out basic routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair tasks. This will be carried out to pre-set timescales, technical direction, and standards. Responsibilities include,but are not limited to:- Undertake routine work such as minor repair tasks on electrical, plumbing, building equipment and painting work- Make sure Health & Safety requirements are meet on site- You will carry out allocated tasks and be trained to supervise and check electrical appliance testing, inspecting fire systems, equipment maintenance testing and inspection- Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and reporting any dangers/deficiencies- Assisting with the escorting of specialist external contractors when requiredQualifications:Minimum Requirements include:- Skills and experience in using and handling tools and equipment- A basic understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace- Have a flexible approach to a wide variety of tasks- Experience in carrying out basic engineering maintenance, repair tasks, grounds maintenance and painting; please provide examplesof your experience- Able to work in shift- Positive attitude towards training and learning new skills- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team- Self-motivated with good communication skills- Customer-focused and computer literate- A basic understanding of Health and Safety in the workplaceClosing:- We are an equal opportunity employer and support workforce diversity._ El anuncio original lo puedes encontrar en Kit Empleo:https://www.kitempleo.es/empleo/110922118/handyman-kfb-009-barcelona/?utm_source=html
