We are looking for a working student who wants to work on our farm during Autumn - Winter 24 (Sept - Dec) to join the team.In the yard, we have around 70 horses, most of them are out in paddocks all day. Students work on a 6-day basis, usually arranging days off with the stable manager.Students start at 9:00 AM. After the general cleaning around the yard, they help bring the horses from their fields, tack them, and assist the kids and clients who come to the farm for horse riding lessons and trails. There are classes that working students can join; we primarily practice jumping, but there are also dressage lessons and beginners' lessons. The number of horses to be ridden and worked depends on your abilities; however, most of our horses, including the young ones, are well-behaved and suitable for beginners. Occasionally, new horses are brought to the farm, and working students can help train them to make them suitable for classes and beginner riders.Additionally, we have a small breeding yard with five breeding mares, and part of the job involves helping with the foals and young horses.You will be able to ride every day, and there is the possibility to compete for those who want to and have the necessary level. You will also have the opportunity to work with young and experienced jumping horses and learn a lot about breeding!Our ideal candidate is polite and patient with children and horses, a nature and horse lover, with a decent level in dressage and/or show jumping, who enjoys being with children and helping new clients discover the horse world. Basic Spanish would help but is not mandatory.We also accept applications from students looking for an internship if done through a formal collaboration with their respective school, college, or university.
