[H-538] Academic Assistant

In our university, we are looking for an academic assistant.
Tasks and Responsibilities: Academic administration tasks and managing relationships with students, who are mainly from abroad. Providing support to your direct manager and students in terms of all the paperwork that needs to be completed from when people start a PhD to the point of their thesis defence, to ensure the regulations in force are complied with. Managing the school at a financial and logistical level (research visits, reserving classrooms, etc.)
and ensuring the school's activities can be undertaken. Taking on responsibility for some of the tasks and activities in the Doctoral School, including: Managing the training and educational activities organised by the Doctoral School. Organising institutional events in the Doctoral School. Developing and maintaining the website in three languages. Organising promotional activities to attract new students. Overseeing new doctors through the Doctoral Programme Monitoring Reports that are presented to AQU (the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency) each year. Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English (C1 level).
Spanish and Catalan: native.
Minimum Requirements: Prior experience of one year in an administrative management position.
Personal Skills: Used to working under pressure, decisive and dynamic.
We are looking for a proactive person, with the ability to take on responsibilities and move up within the Doctoral School.
