).ABOUT THE ROLEAs Legal Counsel supporting theDACHregion, you will be based in Madrid.
This role will require proactivity, autonomy, and drive.
You will be involved in day-to-day legal support to the region, advise on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth of the company, with a focus on the DACH region, draft and help commercial teams negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers and clients, all within a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious regional expansion.You will leverage your legal background for projects that you will own from time to time, and be required to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members within and without the department.
You will be expected to work in the following areas inGerman speakingcountries (and providing additional support in similar tasks to other jurisdictions around the world):Learning about legislation and jurisdictions in the DACH region for the matters entrusted to youDrafting / revising key commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and similar legal documentsProviding support to business teams and upper management in their negotiations of deals and contracts you are involved inAdvising on general legal matters related to the DACH market and our product fit and compliance within themTake ownership of dispute resolution, including litigation, prioritising strategies that lead to practical, win-win resultsAdvice on engagement of, and coordinate and prioritise work of external legal advisorsPrepare / revise internal templates, guides, and similar knowledge management key documentsTake responsibility for document managementParticipate in ongoing compliance functions as requiredPrioritise your and others' workParticipate in the upskilling, support and growth of other team membersABOUT YOUIn order to be successful in this role, you will:Be a barred / practising lawyer, with2+ yearsof PQE in the legal field (corporate or law firm)Have academic legal training in aGermanjurisdiction, and +2 PQE working with the regionSpeak fluent English andGerman, with a command of legal English andGerman(fluency in another language is a plus)Have an excellent academic record and/or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law-firmsHave a keen eye for strategy and business, and be committed to company goalsPossess strong technical skillsBe an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to workThis role is located in Fever's HQ in Madrid, and although we can be flexible with the timing, you will be expected to move there if you are currently living elsewhere.Thank you for considering joining Fever.
