A leading international company is looking for a Network Architect who will assist with the design, development, testing, and implementation of internal and client-specific IT solutions.
TasksLead the design, development, documentation, and implementation of network solutions to ensure optimal system performance and access in a 24/7/365 environment.Provide environmental design and layout criteria for network facilities, cabling infrastructure, equipment, and other devices.Develop technical requirements and testing plans to evaluate vendor products, services, proposals, and bids.Develop and maintain regular plans to support vendor releases for network hardware, operating systems, and software.Ensure adequate network services, capacity, and availability (e.g., bandwidth, switch ports, cables, and connectivity).Develop and maintain documentation of current configurations including baseline templates and optimal configurations, and generate regular change reports.Develop, implement, and monitor network performance measures and reports, and troubleshoot performance problems.Install, configure, and manage network devices, security appliances, and maintain appropriate access procedures.Recommend and implement counteractive security measures proactively, and in response to incidents.Respond to incidents providing root cause analysis.Provide support for telephony, including IP phones and integrated communications.Provide training/knowledge transfer to the network team.Lead, guide, and encourage the team.RequirementsAn in-depth technical understanding of IT Network topologies.CCDP (Cisco Certified Design Professional) desirable.Considerable experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutions.Good knowledge of Cisco VRF lite, BGP, and OSPF.Knowledge of Cisco ACI and Cisco ISE.Good knowledge of NG-Firewall configurations; Fortinet is a plus.Good troubleshooting methodology.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Organizational skills to coordinate vendors or projects with other departments.English and Spanish mandatory.BenefitsCompetitive salary and bonus.
