What are we looking for?
Experience and Knowledge:
Degree in Engineering, Maths, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
At least 10 years' experience working in Front Office transformation projects.
Broad knowledge of the whole product value chain (FO, BO, Accounting, Risk, etc.) with special focus on Equity & Structured Notes business.
Knowledge of Front Office tools (Murex, Calypso, Bloomberg, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google tools.
Optional:
MBA, Master Degree in Finance or other official certifications (CFA, FRM, etc.).
PMP Certification.
Programming skills.
Agile fundamentals.
Languages:
C1 level English.
Additional languages will be a plus.
Soft skills:
Digital and open mindset, being able to challenge the status quo.
Expertise in team working and interacting with different areas.
Overview:
Platform Strategy Management helps the business to decline the strategy into concrete tangible and productive solutions, by helping in the proposition, design and execution of projects that all have a technical angle. It contributes to Global Markets growth by facilitating the adoption of new business models through modern, efficient, user-friendly, flexible and agile corporate solutions, together with seamless and streamlined processes.
You will be part of a global Quantitative & Business Solution team made up of over 50 people who all have a passion for financial markets, products and services offered to our clients. The open position is part of a broad Quantitative & Business Solution team that works under agile methodology.
Assignment to concrete functions and projects is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Responsibilities:
Contribute with a modern and disruptive mindset to the transformation of the different Front Office businesses.
Understand Trading and Sales processes and needs and help them in the conceptualization of projects, with different time horizons.
Understand the whole product value chain and promote the implementation of better end-to-end solutions.
Contribute to the design of new solutions and the execution of new projects by providing expert criteria and experience in processes & project management.
Lead new technologies initiatives, in order to assess its convenience for Global Markets at a relatively early stage.
Identify weaknesses and opportunities in both processes and systems and proactively suggest remediation plans.
Project portfolio prioritization and follow up with internal & external stakeholders, specially with SDA.
Daily functional support to GM users on cross asset platforms (Murex, Calypso, Bloomberg, Modelity, etc.).
Manage relationship with software vendors and consulting companies.
Report to the in-line manager on an ad-hoc and periodic basis.
