The Press Officer will also be responsible for press pitching in line with the PR strategy and for visibility of all the projects of the brand for the following markets: Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium.
Your role will be: Assist the PR Manager for Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium in developing brand exposure in these markets.Handle editors, journalists, stylists and content specialists for both online & offline magazines for sample requests, product pushes and special brand stories.Proactively nurture relationships with members of press & stylists.Lead contact within company for all external press requests.Supervise the showroom coordinator in sample requests to be aligned with the collection exposure in press & press strategy.Pitching product stories in line with seasonal strategy, in coordination with the PR manager.Support product launches; e.g.
gifting and seeding strategies in press, in coordination with the PR Manager.Responsible for updating international contact databases.Gathering, organizing press coverage.Supporting the PR Manager in compiling reports for the board and the team in preparing for the bi-annual fashion show and Paris showrooms.Joining the PR Manager acting as host at seasonal press days / press appointments and other events happening in the store.Profile: What is important for the role: Minimum 3-4 years of experience working in agency or in-house press office.Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and FGPS.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly organised with excellent work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to accomplish tasks accurately, thoroughly, and with attention to detail.Languages: English advanced.
