Rakuten is looking for a Total Rewards Analyst to join the International Total Rewards Team!
The Total Rewards Center of Excellence at Rakuten leads the implementation and administration of the Rewards Framework that supports the Rakuten Compensation Philosophy.
The Total Rewards Analyst will assist in the development, implementation, and administration of the Rewards Framework and other major compensation processes and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Compensation Analysis: Collaborate on the design, review, and management of the Total Rewards Framework: job catalog, compensation structures, short and long-term incentive programs.Complete ad-hoc analysis and generate reports to assess current rewards programs, trends, best practices, and other related initiatives.Prepare and submit compensation surveys and other related compensation studies.2. Data Management and Reporting: Collect data from a variety of sources, including our HR System (Workday), to design dashboards and reports that enable the HR Community to monitor and analyze trends in people data.3. Collaboration and Support: Work with HRPBs to continuously improve Total Rewards related communication.Participate in the preparation of the global annual compensation review process, including data validation and Workday Advanced Comp configuration and testing.Partner with the HRIS team to create and maintain compensation data in Workday: job profiles, salary ranges, bonus plans, allowances plans, etc.Assist cross-regional Total Rewards initiatives (Americas, APAC, EMEA).MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Compensation.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; experience in working with people data is preferred.Experience in Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.Ability to build productive relationships; excellent interpersonal, consulting, and communication skills to work collaboratively across teams and diverse cultures in a matrix organization.Five Principles for Success Rakuten Group has an unswerving commitment to building an egalitarian society by empowering individuals and companies to be successful in business and in life.
