The worldwide Alliances & Channels organization at Salesforce provides global leadership developing partnerships with our Strategic Consulting Partners.
Major Responsibilities Include: Use SQL/Python to extract, analyze, and manipulate data to deliver insights that advise business decisions.Develop & maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to supervise and track insights, key performance indicators, and trends.Interpret key performance metrics, including sales pipeline performance.Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements of features and map them to the appropriate Analytics.Identify tasks that can be automated to streamline data collection and analysis, reducing manual efforts and potential errors.Collaborate with a distributed team of partner strategists to provide analytical insights that will scale across a growing base of team members.Participate in team meetings and provide updates on operational performance.Collaborate with partner analytics team to instrument, acquire, develop, and structure data assets that are critical to measuring the success of our organization.Be comfortable having clear, effective conversations with partner-facing roles of varying levels of seniority, to understand analytic needs and translate into scalable results.Work Experience / Skills and Competencies: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau CRM, Tableau Desktop).Strong understanding of SQL language, including its syntax, functions, and features.Develop and maintain Snowflake SQL scripts and Snowflake utilities.Understanding of Snowflake tenants, schemas, tables, and views.Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data and reporting.Ability to develop executive-facing views of data, along with recommendations and insights to share with business leaders.Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions.Consistent track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency.Collaborative teammate who can quickly establish trusted relationships with colleagues and comfortably work across cultures and countries.Curiosity to problem-solve and identify what data trends may indicate around health of the organization.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with API connectivity technologies and platforms-as-a-service, and demonstrated curiosity.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization.Strong drive and character qualities that match with company core values and inspire others to follow and act.Understanding of stakeholder management including setting expectations, managing project scope, and designing for the long-term.Highly collaborative with multi-functional team members.Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative and can handle day-to-day without direct supervision.Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions.Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations.Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or relevant experience) in an analytical field such as business administration, computer science, economics, data management, etc.
