Position Summary:
The Lead will be accountable for leading the development and delivery of Companion Diagnostics (CDx) commercialization in local hospitals, focusing on Prostate Cancer and Bladder Cancer.
Provide commercial input into evaluation and selection of CDx partners, launch readiness with Dx partner Lead, and serve as the commercial point/interface with key decision makers (HCPs, CDx companies, pathologists) to confirm alignment with Brand strategies.
Develop and execute CDx market development/disease state awareness plans for Urologists and Pathologists, focusing on increasing CDx/biomarker awareness. Partner with Commercial Excellence to drive market research to gather market insights to support CDx launch, including understanding of the current local testing environment, laboratory mapping and targeting, and biomarker insights.
Manage/align Diagnostics support across functions (e.g., market access, Sales, MSLs, training) and ensure commercial readiness for CDx launches by facilitating internal training as needed. In partnership with Brand Teams, develop a messaging platform for CDx launches and implement a stakeholder engagement plan with Pathologists and Lab Directors.
After launch, provide Dx Commercial support for other companion and complementary diagnostic projects across the Janssen Oncology business as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Molecular/Genetic biology educational background preferred.
3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Marketing experience in Oncology preferred.
Product launch experience preferred.
Ability to work in a strong matrix environment and lead by influence required.
Strong communication and negotiating skills required.
Strong analytical skills to understand scientific and financial data, recognize key issues, and establish priorities.
Travel:
Approximately 40% travel required; some international travel required.
Reporting:
Reports to Marketing Manager & Precision Medicine Commercialization Lead.
Base:
Shanghai/Beijing, focusing on 51 top Hospitals.
