.Empresas: 7Pines Resort Ibiza What we are looking for: The Group & Events Manager is responsible for maintaining key attention on selling and meeting the team's revenue goals through warm and friendly contact with clients. He/She participates actively in sales processes and effective sales closings with different techniques and planning to meet the event wishes and expectations of clients while respecting the hotel's feasibilities and direct managers' guidelines. The job of Groups & Events Manager is executed satisfactorily when: Constantly gather, understand, and apply knowledge of food, beverage, technical equipment, and inter-departmental procedures to the sales and planning process with the client. Maintain up-to-date planning information and communication records for easy reference in the sales and planning process. Effectively represent the Hotel in all telephone, written, and personal contacts with potential, past, and current clients with warm, professional, yet friendly guest contact, an ever-present willingness to assist, and especially an obvious desire to welcome client business to the hotel. Follow up all enquiries within 24 hours of receipt and trace and follow up all past, potential, and current client files regularly. Carry out off-site inspections with potential MICE clients in coordination with the Sales team. Prepare all information-sharing to the client and to other hotel departments precisely and thoroughly and update that information on a timely basis. Assume responsibility for all final preparations prior to the event and on the day of the event with the F&B; Banqueting department team, to ensure client satisfaction in line with the details of the planning process. Complete all reports on a timely basis as requested by the Sales Director. Maintain orderly event files recording all vital information on proper departmental forms should another team member be called upon to assist or should an issue following the event need to be substantiated. Maintain good communication with all sales team to secure business and to produce all events to meet the wishes and expectations expressed by the client. Coordinate the Groups & Events Team in terms of updating the Groups & Events agenda for the distribution of duties and team schedules, always taking personal interest in the team talents development plans and identifying team training talents and other team needs. Conduct sales calls with the team and set up appointments for personal sales calls and site inspections to all existing and potential accounts. Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and follow up to ensure the client has received the information and clarify questions. Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill. Manage group room blocks and meeting space
